About The Event
Where I Come From is an open show that invites community members to submit artwork that is representative of their culture or personal history. TDAC seeks to explore the rich history of the Columbia Gorge and the people who live here.
Were you raised on a farm in the Dufur Valley? Maybe you left a childhood in the city for a more rural lifestyle? Did you grow up fishing on the Klickitat? Did your grandparents come from Samoa and pass down their traditions?
Heritage and art go hand in hand, and the diverse heritage of the people in the Columbia Gorge community is what makes it so beautiful. We look forward to seeing the different ways that the artists of our community express their cultural and personal history through different mediums and interpretations.
