Artist Talk: Curious Animals

Join us for a special evening at The Dalles Art Center as Executive Director Ellen Potter hosts a conversation with author Angela Goldsmith and a panel of featured artists from her poetry book series, Curious Animals of the Pacific Northwest.

Together, they’ll explore the intersection of visual art and poetry, and how their collaborative work brings attention to the unique and threatened species that call Oregon home. Following the discussion, audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with the artists and author.

This one-of-a-kind exhibit blends the power of image and word to inspire awareness, connection, and conservation. We can’t wait to dive into the stories behind the work!
